Clinician – Mobile Response Teams (several openings/locations are available)

Program Designed to Serve Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults.  In partnership with law enforcement, local school districts, Alachua County Crisis Center, and other key stakeholders, Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. will form several quality-staffed Mobile Response Teams (MRTs) within Meridian’s established 11-county service area, geographically dividing the teams by proximity and population size, with the aim of maximizing care for youth up to the age of 25.

Each of the four teams will provide 24/7, on-demand crisis intervention and related services for youth and their families/caregivers.  Services will be provided in the setting in which the behavioral crisis is occurring (e.g., home, school, community). The teams will consist of trained professionals and paraprofessionals, including peer support.

Human Resources Coordinator

Provides support and management of duties, specifically in the Compliance and Data Management functions within the Human Resources Department. Reports to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Human Resources Director.  Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. At least two years successful work experience in a human resources department. Oversees compliance in personnel file management, staff training, reporting and auditing.  Serves as agency lead in ensuring data in Kronos is accurate and that reporting is error free.  Serves as first level for PAR distribution among HR staff and that appropriate data is entered into Kronos.  Responsible for ensuring HR Policies/Procedures are edited as necessary and posted on the intranet.

Medical Director

Education: Graduation from an accredited medical school with a specialty in psychiatry.

Licensure: Licensed as MD in State of Florida

Experience: Two years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting working with mentally ill clients. Two years of supervisory experience required.

Job Responsibilities Include: Oversees and directs, the overall planning of the psychiatric/medical care and treatment of clients, and has the final decision making authority on clinical matters effecting their care and welfare. Advocates on behalf of client, and links with systems and services to meet identified needs. Monitors revenue and expense reports of program and institutes corrective action as appropriate to ensure compliance with budgetary goals. Monitors productivity of program staff on an ongoing basis and institutes corrective action to ensure compliance. Ensures programmatic goals and objectives are met and institutes corrective action. Executes aspects of administrative responsibilities (timesheets, time off requests, project timelines, etc.) in a detailed and timely manner. Provides direct diagnostic assessments and evaluation and implements treatment plans for clients as required. Completes all documentation (clinical documents, service worksheets, time sheets, reports, grants, etc.). Assures appropriate documentation for contract and system requirements. Trains and educates staff on timely and accurate data submission, process completion and policy protocols. Provides clinical in-service training to center professionals and paraprofessional staff as requested. Reviews clinical records for quality, quantity and performance; advocates on behalf of client and links with systems and services to meet identified needs and provides feedback to staff.
